Over the holiday season, Wii Fit sales were off the charts. The game has been nearly impossible to find, as everyone wants a copy of Nintendo's most recent hit. Ironically, the game is named "Wii Fit", but there has been little or no scientific evidence to support the "Fit" portion of the products name.

As many of you already know, not every game you purchase for your Nintendo system comes with a unique card to redeem coins on your Club Nintendo account. GoNintendo has now revealed the complete list of games that will attribute to your online coin collection. The word ‘meager’ comes to mind when merely glancing at this list. I honestly can't remember when the last Nintendo 64 game came out on the Virtual Console (it was around May 2008 or something), so it's about freaking time Nintendo have decided to release a new one to the world, and surprisingly, it's one of the most praised Nintendo 64 games in existence. Super Smash Bros. will be coming out on the Virtual Console (in Japan) during the new year period. However, the game has been hit with a price of 1200 Wii Points.

Well it turns out that Harmonix have missed the boat, as even with the extra few months to get it all right, downloadable content for Rock Band 2 Wii has been delayed until 2009. While no definite release date was announced, Harmonix did release a statement regarding the issue.
Nintendo made a statement that will make many a Wii owner happy. Nintendo announced that starting in Spring of 2009, it will offer Video on Demand. Advertising agency Dentsu, will be spearheading the project with Nintendo to bring video to the Wii for at the time, no charge for most programs, and a premium charge for few.
